Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Luxury Camp) (7.5 Hours)

Pick-up at 08:00 AM from your riad in Fes. Drive through the alpine town of Ifrane and the cedar forests of Azrou to see wild Barbary macaques. Stop in Midelt for lunch, then travel through the grand Ziz Valley canyon. Arrive in Merzouga, mount your camel for a sunset trek into Erg Chebbi, and enjoy a luxury camp experience with Berber campfire drumming.

Day 2: Full-Day 4x4 Sahara Desert Safari & Nomad Culture

Wake up for the desert sunrise. Embark on a 4x4 tour around the perimeter of Erg Chebbi: visit nomadic families in traditional wool tents, explore the ghost village and mines of M'Fis, and listen to spiritual Gnawa musicians in Khamlia. Check into a boutique kasbah hotel by the dunes to relax by the pool. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 3: Merzouga → Rissani Souk → Erfoud → Ziz Valley → Fes (7.5 Hours)

After breakfast, visit the traditional market of Rissani. We drive north along the N13 through the Ziz Valley and Middle Atlas, returning to Fes by 06:30 PM with drop-off at your riad.
