Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation. We'll head south, ascending into the High Atlas Mountains via the spectacular Tizi n'Tichka pass (2,260m). The drive offers stunning panoramic views of the mountains and traditional Berber villages. Upon arrival at Aït Benhaddou, you'll have a guided tour of the ksar, exploring its narrow alleyways and climbing to the top for a breathtaking view over the Ounila Valley. You'll learn about the history of this important stop on the former caravan route between the Sahara and Marrakech. After lunch at a local restaurant with a view of the kasbah, we will begin our scenic drive back to Marrakech, arriving in the early evening.
