Itinerary
Your day begins with an early morning pick-up from your Marrakech accommodation. We'll embark on a scenic drive through the Haouz plains towards the coast. Along the way, we'll make a stop to see the famous Argan trees, where you might spot goats climbing the branches. You'll also have the opportunity to visit a local women's cooperative producing Argan oil.
Upon arrival in Essaouira, you'll have the day to explore independently. Walk along the impressive 18th-century ramparts (the Skala de la Kasbah) with their bronze cannons, wander through the labyrinthine streets of the medina filled with art galleries and craft shops, and visit the bustling fishing port to see the iconic blue boats returning with their daily catch. For lunch, enjoy incredibly fresh seafood at one of the port-side grills or a charming restaurant in the medina. In the late afternoon, we'll begin our comfortable drive back to Marrakech, dropping you off at your hotel in the evening.
