Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Marrakech → High Atlas (Tizi n'Tichka) → Kasbah Telouet → Ksar Aït Benhaddou → Ouarzazate (4.5 Hours Drive / 200 km)

We pick you up at 08:30 AM from your Marrakech accommodation and drive southeast on the N9 highway. We climb the High Atlas Mountains, pausing at panoramic viewpoints along the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260 m). We divert into the picturesque Ounila Valley to visit Kasbah Telouet, the ancestral seat of the Glaoui pashas. Continuing down the valley, we arrive at the UNESCO World Heritage fortress Ksar Aït Benhaddou for a guided walking tour. Afterward, drive to Ouarzazate for dinner and an overnight stay in a boutique kasbah hotel.

Day 2: Ouarzazate (Film Studios & Taourirt Kasbah) → High Atlas → Marrakech (4 Hours Drive / 200 km)

After breakfast, explore Ouarzazate's famous Atlas Film Studios (where sets from Gladiator, Kingdom of Heaven, and The Mummy remain preserved) and visit the 19th-century Taourirt Kasbah. After lunch overlooking the kasbah, we begin the scenic return drive across the High Atlas Mountains, arriving back in Marrakech by 05:30 PM with drop-off at your riad.
