Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou → Midelt → Ziz Valley → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Luxury Camp) (7.5 Hours Drive / 470 km)

Pick-up at 07:30 AM in Fes. Drive south through Ifrane and the Azrou cedar forests (spotting wild macaques). Stop in Midelt for lunch, then descend through the magnificent Ziz Valley canyon. Arrive in Merzouga, mount your camel for a 1-hour sunset trek into Erg Chebbi, and enjoy a luxury camp experience with hot shower, dinner, and live Berber music under the stars.

Day 2: Merzouga Sunrise → Rissani → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley (4.5 Hours Drive / 270 km)

Watch the desert sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast, travel through Rissani and Tinjdad to Todra Gorges in Tinghir. Take a walk along the river inside the towering limestone canyon. In the afternoon, drive through the Valley of the Roses to Dades Gorges for dinner and an overnight stay in a boutique kasbah hotel.

Day 3: Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ksar Aït Benhaddou → High Atlas → Marrakech (6.5 Hours Drive / 330 km)

After breakfast, drive past Ouarzazate to the UNESCO World Heritage fortress Ksar Aït Benhaddou. Explore the ancient earthen village with a local guide. After lunch, cross the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2,260 m), arriving in Marrakech by 06:30 PM with drop-off at your riad.
