Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Tangier → Cap Spartel → Rif Mountains → Chefchaouen (115 km)

Pick-up in Tangier. Visit Cap Spartel and Hercules Caves before driving into the Rif Mountains to the picturesque town of Chefchaouen. Afternoon free to explore the blue medina. Overnight in a riad.

Day 2: Chefchaouen → Volubilis → Meknes → Fes (200 km)

Drive south through scenic agricultural valleys to the Roman ruins of Volubilis. Tour the imperial highlights of Meknes (Bab Mansour). Arrive in Fes for dinner and an overnight stay in a traditional riad.

Day 3: Fes Medina Full-Day Historical Guided Tour

Guided tour of Fes with an official historian: Royal Palace gates, Al-Qarawiyyin University, Medersa Bou Inania, Nejjarine Museum, and Chouara Tanneries. Overnight in Fes.

Day 4: Fes → Ifrane → Azrou Cedar Forest → Ziz Valley → Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Luxury Camp) (470 km)

Drive through the Middle Atlas (Ifrane, Azrou monkeys), have lunch in Midelt, and descend through the spectacular Ziz Valley. Arrive in Merzouga and embark on a sunset camel trek into Erg Chebbi. Enjoy dinner and live Berber drumming around the campfire.

Day 5: Merzouga Sunrise → Rissani → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley (270 km)

Desert sunrise and breakfast. Drive through Rissani to Todra Gorges for a scenic river walk. Continue through the Valley of the Roses to Dades Gorges for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Dades Valley → Skoura Palm Grove → Ksar Aït Benhaddou → High Atlas → Marrakech (330 km)

Visit Kasbah Amridil in Skoura and tour the UNESCO Ksar Aït Benhaddou. Cross the High Atlas Mountains via Tizi n'Tichka (2,260 m), arriving in Marrakech by late afternoon. Overnight in a riad.

Day 7: Marrakech Guided City Tour & Departure Transfer
